Summary:
Turn back the clock to January 21st, 1793 where a tyrant meets an early grave. King Louis XVI, after being tried for high treason before the National Convention, is imprisoned in Temple prison, and by a small majority, is sentenced to death by the guillotine.
As the first official victim of the Reign of Terror, Louis's execution is a turning point in the French Revolution and signaled a definite end to despot rule in France's government. To witness such a spectacle is to see just what commoners are capable of when oppressed, ignored, and abused. The spirit of the French revolutionary and the violence he or she is driven to is awe inspiring in of itself.

~ 6am, Arrive in Port of Marseille
- Meet your tour director
- Board horse drawn carriage and embark on 482 mile trip to Revolution Square, Paris
- Gather around scaffolding established in center of town square
- Wait for Father Edgeworth, King Louis's priest who read him his final rites, to walk King Louis to the guillotine
- Partake in nationalist clamor and biting jeers as King Louis is released in front of scaffolding
- It is reported by Executioner Charles Henri Sanson that King Louis XVI shouts out "I am lost!" as he walks to the guillotine. Ignore such claims, he is in fact not lost. He knows where he is.
- Wait for blade to come down. (Avert eyes if you suffer from nausea or any heart conditions.)
~ 3pm, Partake in post-execution celebrations
- Party hard with the rest of the revolutionaries (Drink responsibly)
- Partake in general shouting of "Vive la Nation!" and "Vive la Republique" - two chants that reportedly filled the streets of Paris shortly after the blade fell.
- A silence was called to offer respect to the body of King Louis as he was brought to the cemetery, barred from being buried alongside his Father, Dauphin Louis De France - his body will be buried in what curate Damoureau describes as a white vest, with grey silk breeches and stockings.
