"I would pay to see that guillotine in action again"

I was extremely pleased with my trip through time, especially since I was able to visit my long dead ancestor, even though he may not have recognized me. When I first stepped foot back in time, it was a life changing experience, the food was to die for and I enjoyed sleeping on my straw mat within the local tavern, though I could've sworn that everywhere I went I received odd glares, I'm not sure if it was my smell or something. Anyways, the guillotine was a new experience, it was used often and I was fortunate enough to join in the festivities, I may have even caught someone's ear! I would definitely go again, I'll be sure to tell all my friends and family, I might even book here every year.

"Guillotines really get me going."

I couldn't believe how courteous and thoughtful my tour guides were. On all of the trips, I found myself right at home amongst people who were convinced I was a witch because of my pants and magical ticking wrist clock. Though I wish I had packed more weather appropriate clothes (how was I supposed to know that France was ALWAYS cold in the winter?!) I have no serious regrets. I've booked another trip for this summer, and I can't wait! I'm bringing my whole family. Yeah, executions! Woo! Down with tyrants! I love everything!

"I thought it was cool, but I still have a few questions."

Hi, yeah, I had a really good time and everything and I thought it was cool how they killed that guy Louis or whatever, but I had a question. You know how the King was a tyrant and nobody liked that so they killed him? Why couldn't they just tell him beforehand that they didn't like what he was doing and he could just stop doing whatever it was that he was doing, they didn't have to go ahead and cut the guy's head off. It seems a little overdramatic if you ask me. Or maybe, they thought that if they asked him politely, he'd say no? Did they? Did he say no? I have no idea, I skipped this chapter in the book and BS'ed the SPICE chart during first lunch.

"i was five minutes late because i went to my locker"

I was riding my tricycle as fast as i could to the airport but I had to go to my locker first and I was late. This brings back bad memories of World History Class where I would be late to class because I needed to go to my locker and then Mr. Green my teacher would always ask why I was late, one time I told him I took the elevator before class. Because I was late everyone left without me :( but at least I got peanuts for free.

"Would love to have cut the poor fella's head off myself."

I thought this trip was great. I'll have you all know that I am a French III Honors student, and speak French fluently* (brokenly), so I had no problem deciphering disjointed phrases during the whole event. A lot of the time, they were speaking way too quickly for me to keep up, but other times, I had that French ON LOCK. I fit right in, no one suspected that I was in fact a 21st century American. They all thought I was King Louis's cousin! #FrenchSwag
